Compo-Plug PartFinder — Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
Operated by: Sheanat Enterprise Business structure: Sole Proprietorship Contact: support.compoplug@gmail.com Effective Date: 13 August 2026 Last Updated: 13 August 2026
1. Purpose
This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and disputes are handled when using Compo-Plug PartFinder ("PartFinder", "we", "us", or "our").
PartFinder is primarily a parts discovery and marketplace connection platform. Sellers publish listings and buyers use the platform to discover parts and contact sellers.
Unless an order is expressly completed through a payment feature operated by PartFinder, PartFinder is not the seller of the listed part and does not hold the buyer's money.
This distinction is important.
2. Offline or Direct Seller Transactions
Many PartFinder transactions may occur directly between a buyer and a seller after the buyer contacts the seller through WhatsApp, telephone or another communication channel.
For these transactions:
- The seller is responsible for the sale
- The seller is responsible for the condition and authenticity of the part
- The buyer and seller agree on price and payment
- The buyer and seller arrange delivery or collection
- PartFinder does not receive the purchase money
- PartFinder does not hold the purchase money in escrow
- PartFinder cannot automatically reverse a payment made directly to a seller
- Refunds must normally be requested directly from the seller
PartFinder may assist with a dispute or investigate a complaint, but mediation does not guarantee that money will be recovered.
3. Buyer Responsibility
Before paying a seller, buyers should:
- Confirm that the part is compatible with their device
- Confirm the exact model and part number
- Ask the seller about condition
- Confirm whether the part is new, used, refurbished or pulled from another device
- Confirm availability
- Confirm price
- Confirm delivery or collection arrangements
- Request appropriate evidence where authenticity or condition is important
- Inspect the part where reasonably possible
- Keep payment and transaction evidence
Buyers should exercise particular caution before making direct payments to sellers.
4. Seller Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Listings are accurate
- Prices are accurate
- Availability information is current
- Images reasonably represent the listed item
- Compatibility information is accurate
- Parts are legally owned or legally available for sale
- Counterfeit, stolen or prohibited items are not listed
- Buyers receive the item agreed upon
A seller who repeatedly receives substantiated complaints may have their listing or account restricted, suspended or terminated.
5. PartFinder-Paid Services
PartFinder may offer paid services such as:
- Premium subscriptions
- Seller promotion
- Featured listings
- Advertising
- Verification services
- Business tools
- Other paid platform services
The specific price and service will be displayed before payment.
6. Premium Subscriptions
Where Premium access is offered on a recurring basis:
- The subscription fee is charged for the selected billing period.
- The subscription normally remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not automatically create a refund for the unused portion of the current period.
- Where required by applicable law, a refund may be provided despite this general rule.
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions may have additional conditions disclosed at purchase.
7. When a Refund May Be Approved
A refund for a PartFinder-paid service may be considered where:
- You were charged but the paid service was not activated
- We charged you due to a technical or billing error
- You were charged more than once for the same service due to an error
- We cancel a paid service before it is provided and you are entitled to a refund
- A payment was made fraudulently and the applicable investigation confirms the issue
- A refund is required under applicable law
- PartFinder voluntarily approves a refund following review
8. When a Refund May Not Be Available
Unless required by law, refunds may not be available where:
- You simply change your mind after using a digital service
- You have already substantially used the paid service
- The service was correctly delivered
- Your account was suspended or terminated because you violated our Terms of Service
- You purchased directly from a seller rather than through PartFinder
- You sent money directly to a seller
- The dispute concerns a seller's offline transaction that PartFinder did not process
- You failed to cancel a recurring subscription before its renewal date
9. Product Returns
PartFinder does not automatically operate a centralised product-return warehouse or fulfilment system.
For parts purchased directly from sellers, the seller's return terms apply, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
A seller may offer a return or replacement where:
- The wrong part was supplied
- The part materially differs from the listing
- The part was materially damaged before delivery
- The part is demonstrably defective within an agreed warranty period
- Another legally recognised ground applies
Buyers should agree on return conditions with the seller before completing a transaction.
10. Disputes Involving Sellers
If a transaction has been logged through PartFinder's dispute functionality, you may submit evidence such as:
- Payment receipts
- Screenshots
- Listing details
- Photographs
- Videos
- WhatsApp communications
- Delivery evidence
- Other relevant documentation
PartFinder may contact the parties and attempt to mediate.
For offline transactions, PartFinder's role is limited to reasonable mediation and platform enforcement. We cannot guarantee a refund because we do not control funds paid directly to sellers.
11. Online Payment Disputes
Where PartFinder itself processes a payment through an integrated payment provider, we may investigate disputes and determine whether a refund is appropriate.
Approved refunds will normally be sent through the original payment channel or another reasonable method.
Payment processors may impose their own processing times.
12. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, contact: support.compoplug@gmail.com
Include:
- Full name
- Account phone number or email
- Transaction/payment reference
- Date of payment
- Amount paid
- Service purchased
- Reason for requesting a refund
- Supporting evidence
We may request additional information before approving a refund.
13. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, the time required for the money to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank, mobile-money provider or other financial institution.
PartFinder cannot guarantee the processing time imposed by an external financial institution.
14. Fraudulent or Unauthorised Payments
If you believe a payment was made without your authorisation, contact us immediately.
You should also contact your bank, card issuer, mobile-money provider or payment provider where appropriate.
We may investigate suspicious transactions and may suspend accounts involved in suspected fraud.
15. Cancellation of Orders or Services
Where PartFinder provides an order or paid-service cancellation feature, cancellation will be governed by the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
A cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund.
16. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal with your bank or payment provider, we may provide transaction records and other relevant evidence to the payment provider or financial institution.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Changes will apply to transactions made after the updated policy becomes effective unless applicable law requires otherwise.
